Aims & Objectives

Article 1 – Name and place of business 

The foundation bears the name: S.K. BOB Foundation. 

The foundation is located in Sierra Leone.

Article 2 - Purpose 

The foundation aims to:

Promote cultural values and education for young people through social activities, vocational training including singing and acting. 

Promote education for underprivileged children in Africa. 

Initiate, supervise, and execute projects in Sierra Leone, including the construction of houses, toilets, schools, and water wells, to support the local population. 

Organise and supervise symposiums and workshops,  person to person sensitisation. 

Promote women's empowerment, children's rights, and improve maternal, child, and adolescent health through advocacy and awareness campaigns. 

Engage in any activities related to or beneficial for the above objectives. 

The foundation serves the public interest. 

The foundation has no profit motives. 

The foundation aims to achieve its goals through all appropriate and legal means. The foundation is an affiliate of Stichting S.K.BOB Ucap film foundation in the Netherlands. 

The foundation itself operates solely under its registered name, S.K.BOB Foundation. Article 3 - Power 

The assets intended to achieve the purpose of the foundation are formed by: 

Gifts and donations. 

Grants and sponsor contributions. Inheritances or bequests. 

Other means of acquisition.

Our Goals

1. To build not only a working, but more so, a competent, more healthy, economically stable and focused community, equipped with the necessary tools, skills and knowledge for self-reliance and development, leading to full realization of human potential.
2. It aims at contributing to societal and economic change, to the fight against structural causes of poverty, and to the reduction of power imbalances. Strategically, the organization uses symposium and training as entry points because we believe the more people are empowered, the more they are able to hold the reins of their destiny and live the life they desire and deserve..
3. To help the community improve and gain access to safe ,clean and financially sustainable water to citizens and reduce time spent collecting water.
4.  To Provide sanitary toilets and improve sanitation and hygiene services.,reliable electricity, and to support reforms designed to help school children with sanitary pads and school materials.
